Bahia

Bahia is like a cow pasture grass, it grows well under the sun and is heat and drought tolerant. It prefers full sun so it is great for Florida-type weather. It is also very low-maintenance grass.

St. Augustine

St. Augustine grass is one of the most popular sod types in Florida due to its tolerance to heat and humidity. It establishes quickly and easily and is a low maintenance type of Sod

Zoysia

Zoysia also works in Florida climate, but it does tend to not be green all year round and requires more care than the others.. Typically requires mowing at least once a week..
